We offer a competitive salary and benefit package. Both part-time and full-time employees are eligible for:

  • 401(k) Plan

    Team members who are 18 years of age and older are eligible to participate in our company 401k Plan through CUNA Mutual Group after 6 months of service.  Our plan includes Traditional 401k pre-tax & Roth options.  We offer a Safe Harbor Contribution that is made into all eligible participants’ retirement accounts after the close of the plan year and there may also be a discretionary employer match.

    We give our team members 10 paid holidays per year.

  • Part time teller opportunities at the following locations:  Tinton Falls, Neptune, North Brunswick

    The Teller’s primary focus is on the daily operations of the retail branch:

    • Assisting members with account management
    • Complete member transactions
    • Provide other financial services as needed
    • Maintaining accurate records and thorough handling of all monies assigned

    The Teller also has the responsibility to:

    • Meet the branch goal for new members
    • Meet the branch goal for new checking accounts
    • Meet the branch goal for electronic services
    • Support both lending, investment & retirement services through referrals

  • Part Time Sales & Investment Center Coordinator - Hybrid A

    The primary focus is to provide “whatever it takes” service in the completion and coordination of activities which cause the Sales and Investment Center areas to run efficiently and achieve their goals.

    General Requirements:

    • Minimum of one year of experience in an administration support position.
    • Financial background, helpful.
    • Telephone sales experience, desired.
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
    • Motivated to exceed sales goals.

    This position also has the responsibility to:

    • Schedule and confirm initial and annual review appointments for Investment Center
    • Track team referrals and follow-up appointments for Investment Center
    • Utilize marketing lists to make pro-active outbound calls to schedule appointments and follow up as needed.
    • Assist Investment Center Consultant with seminars and business development activities.
    • Coordinate any sales or Investment Center presentations or Seminars.

  • Full Time Personal Banker - Tinton Falls Branch Location

    This team member will deliver an exceptional member experience, while focusing on sales results of the retail branch to include:

    • Meet the branch goal for new members
    • Meet the branch goal for new Checking accounts
    • Meet the branch goal for electronic services
    • Support lending, investment & retirement services through referrals
    • Make outbound calls for sales appointments

    The Personal Banker also has operational retail branch responsibility:

    • Assisting members with account management
    • Complete member transactions
    • Provide other financial services as needed
    • Maintaining accurate records and thorough handling of all monies assigned

  • Full Time Mortgage Loan Officer

    Under the direction of the Mortgage Sales Lead, establish and develop effective outside business relationships with but not limited to real estate agents, attorneys, title companies and accountants in Credit Union’s footprint to source first mortgage transactions and to utilize UTFCU as their mortgage lending partner. This is accomplished by providing professional value to the outside sources of business and their referrals in choosing and managing products and services that will ensure the credit union’s business success. Maintain relationships with members to solicit mortgage loans.

    General Requirements

    Minimum of two years of experience in a mortgage sales position.

    Spanish speaking required

    Experience with FHA/VA programs, helpful.

    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

    1. Proficiency in MS Office products, online chat, internet research, and various other online applications.
    2. Proficiency in use of member contact software.
    3. Proficiency in use of various mortgage origination software modules

    Ability to work at any UTFCU branches as needed.

    • Working knowledge of all agency guidelines to include but not limited to Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Non Conforming, FHA and VA and/or other investors.

    Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws/regulatory requirements as related to functional areas including TRID, Reg B, Reg Z, RESPA, HOEPA, and Bank Secrecy Act.
