What Happened?

Equifax, one of three major consumer credit reporting agencies, announced yesterday that cybercriminals exploited a vulnerability in their website and gained access to social security numbers, birth dates, addresses, and driver license numbers. 143 Million US consumers may have been affected. This is one of the largest data breaches in US history.

How Do I Know If I am at Risk?
