Surcharge free ATMs

Effective February 18, 2018, all members with a United Rewards Checking or University Checking will now have access to over 55,000 fee free ATMs worldwide. In addition to ATMs located at United Teletech branch locations, ATMs at Quickchek, Walgreens, Target, Wawa, CVS, Rite Aid, Speedway and more are now surcharge free for members with those accounts.  Ensuring that no matter where you are or what time it is there is always a surcharge free ATM close by.

Effective, March 1, 2018, You will no longer have 10 free ATM transactions per month, and the fee will be raised to $1.50. All members with a United Rewards Checking or University Checking can avoid paying this fee by using ATMs in the Allpoint Network or at a United Teletech Branch Location.

What are the major changes to the fee free ATM network?

Previously you had 10 fee free ATM transactions at all ATMs not at United Teletech branch location. Now, all members with a United Rewards Checking or University Checking will have unlimited ATM transactions at 55,000 more ATMs.

Why are we making this change?

We want you to have fee free ATMs no matter how many transactions per month they use.

What happens if I use an ATM outside the network?

United Teletech will charge a $1.50 ATM fee for every transaction you complete outside of our network. The company that owns the ATM may also charge you a fee. It is possible to receive two separate ATM fees. One from United Teletech and one from the merchant that owns the ATM.

Why is there a price increase for some ATMs?

Some ATMs will have a small increase in price. These ATMs are used less frequently and the fee is going to allow us to afford to give members a much larger surcharge free ATM network.

How do I find out what ATMs are fee free?

Simply go to this link and you will see the complete Allpoint Network. This network is fee free for everyone with a United Rewards or University checking account only. All other members, including those with Eureka Checking, will be able to use this network, but will be charged a $1.50 fee after each transaction.

Do all members get access to the fee free ATM Network?

ATMs located at a United Teletech branch locations are fee free for all members.  All those with United Rewards or University checking will also receive fee free access to all ATMs in the Allpoint Network.  All other members, including those with Eureka Checking, will be charged a fee every time they complete a transaction at this network.

What are some popular chains that I can use to avoid being charged a ATM Fee?

Walgreens, CVS, Quickcheck, Target, Wawa, Rite Aid, Speedway and more are Fee Free for all members with United Rewards or University Checking.

What if I do not have United Rewards Checking or University Checking?

You will be charged a fee of $1.50 each time you use an ATM not at a United Teletech Branch location. This fee will be charged at the end of month and not right after using the ATM. Fee free ATMs in the Allpoint network are only available to those with United Rewards Checking and University Checking.

When will I start seeing the fees on my statement?

The fees will go live on March 1, 2018
