As an originator you will have significant out of office job expectations which include, and are not limited to:

• originating FHA/VA, conventional and other hybrid mortgage loans;
  
• developing leads and other contacts with realtors, title agents and attorneys;
  
• representing the Credit Union in the community promoting Credit Union products and services; and
  
• providing training seminars.
  

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 5 years of similar or related experience.
   
2. Education equivalent to a four-year high school education plus some additional post – secondary technical course work.
   
3. Possess extensive knowledge of real estate sales and regulations, appraisal guidelines, and financial statements.
   
4. Ability to work a flexible schedule to include evenings and Saturdays.
   
5. Possess well-developed communication skills where the importance of discretion, accuracy, and clarity is substantial.
   
6. Possess ability to work with deadlines and under pressure; and cooperate within a team environment.
